Jay T. Lane is a business development leader focused on team and partner enablement for the Americas Partner Organization. An innovative and execution focused leader with more than 35 years in communications, enterprise sales, channels and marketing. Prior to Cisco, Jay held various senior sales management, channel strategy, and business development positions for a number of industry leading companies in computer sales and data networking. In 1997, Jay joined Cisco during the company's transformation to a partner centric sales model. Today, Cisco's channel strategy is recognized as a catalyst to Cisco's dramatic growth and the best in the industry. During his tenure with Cisco, Jay held several leadership roles as part of architecting Cisco’s service provider partner model transforming profitable managed service growth for both Cisco and our service providers. Now 23 years with Cisco, Jay has held various strategic positions from Partner Account Manager, Service Provider Alliance Leader, and Manager Partner Operations. Today, Jay is responsible for the America’s Partner Organization enablement strategy focused on the evolution of our business model that will enhance a deeper engagement with partners and customers.
